Quay House first became available for use by therapists in late 1997. Since that time many individual therapists and therapeutic agencies have made use of its facilities.
Among those agencies which have used or are using Quay House are Herefordshire Council, MIND, Relate, CRUSE and the Gloucestershire Counselling Service. Medical practitioners hold medico/legal interviews and assessments here. A Buddhist meditation group meets weekly and there are frequent seminars organised by Jungian Analysts.
Among the many individual therapists using Quay House there are psychotherapists, counsellors, mentors, homeopaths, and acupuncturists.
The Centre, a group of psychotherapists and counsellors, run a co-ordinated service of assessment and treatment at Quay House. They can be contacted by clicking here.
All therapists using Quay House need to be fully qualified by a relevant recognised UK professional agency and each has to be covered by professional insurance.
Several of those agencies and therapists currently using Quay House have been doing so for five or more years. All who do, remark on the calm and peaceful quality of the building and its setting and on the beneficial effect this has on their clients.
Facilities exist to hold small seminars, committee meetings and training courses at Quay House.
