Quay House has five rooms used by therapists. The smallest, Room 3, is best suited for use for one-to-one work. Room 4 is slightly larger in size and, in addition to being suitable for one-to-one work, is also used for acupuncture and similar therapies requiring the use of a treatment table. Rooms 1 and 2 are significantly larger and lend themselves for use with couples or small groups; additionally Room 1 has a couch for use by psychotherapists. Room 5 is the largest and designed primarily for use by groups of up to 20 for seminars. All rooms are on the ground floor and Rooms 1 and 2 look out onto a walled garden. There is a small office/kitchenette for use by all therapists.
The front door of the building can be easily accessed by wheelchair users by a ramp. There are two toilets, one of which is designed for the non-ambulant disabled. The building had a major refurbishment in 2003 and the rooms are furnished and decorated to a high standard.
Quay House is available for use from early morning to late evening, seven days a week.
The scale of charges varies from room to room and whether the booking is a one-off or a regular long term commitment. A quotation for a specific hire will be given on request but all rates are between £4.00 and £10.00 per hour.
